The Degree Jersey Program
USA Hockey is finalizing a sponsorship agreement with Unilever USA. To support their mission of adding vitality to life, they will provide over $1 million worth of free jerseys to USA Hockey Youth Programs. The jerseys will be produced by Reebok/CCM and be available to the 7&8, 9&10 and 11&12 year old house league teams for the start of the 2010/2011 season.
Here are details about the Degree Jersey Program:
The Jerseys
· The jerseys will be packaged in one color sets of 17
· There will be separate sets for mites, squirts and pee wees with a mixture of sizes
· They are part of the Reebok/CCM Gamewear Practice series of jerseys
· Space will be left open for teams to add their own numbers and team logo
· There will be Degree, Reebok and USA Hickey logos on the jerseys in a location that will not interfere with numbers and team logos
· The jerseys will be available in 6 colors (yellow, red, blue, green, black, white)
· Goalie jerseys will be available for purchase
How to Order Jerseys
· Each Association will be responsible for ordering jerseys for their teams
· The orders can be placed online beginning in April 2010
· The Associations can choose color, the age appropriate set of 17 and boys or girls jerseys
· The jerseys will be shipped to the Associations in the first part of August 2010 for the Associations to distribute to their teams
· Associations should place orders as soon as possible since the jerseys will be available on a first come first served basis.
Communication of the Program
· E-Mail communication of the program details will be sent to Board Members, Affiliate Presidents, Association Presidents, Registrars, and Coaches
· Articles will be included in USA Hockey Magazine, on USAHockey.com and in the Tape to Tape Newsletter describing the jersey program
